Don't Overanalyze the Food!!!

Hi Readers!!!

Are you thinking about adapting a healthy nutrition plan? Making healthy eating a lifestyle?  First off......YEAH!!!!  Eating healthy is truly not a stressful, hard process......in fact, do not worry about the percentages of proteins, carbs, and fats and journaling every ounce of every gram of every calorie of every portion of every meal....on and on...you get the idea....I would be overwhelmed too. Start by changing the types of carbohydrates, proteins, and fats you eat and simply eat 5-6 small meals containing these new healthy foods every day.  Now....doesn't that sound more feasible, less stressful, and YES....I CAN DO THIS!!!!

I am so excited about my current updates which are actually member requests for my workouts.  My goal with this site is to motivate you to get healthy....MEN AND WOMEN!!!!  I am a trainer first and model what my lifestyle does for my body  The videos I create come from MY TRAINING ROOM.  I am very interactive with you through talking, even if breathless, and just to let you know that my workouts are not my time to be sexy and cute, etc.  I am giving you my real deal, the real workout personality and all the noise and SWEAT that comes with it.  It is all about the work.....I am realistic and give you what it truly looks like to see me working out!!!!  If you want something more than just a site to stare at sexy images, then I look forward to having you on board.....not to say that I do not provide these, but I am giving you so much more.  Enjoy a small clip from the update

INDEPENDENCE DAY!!!

Happy 4th of July and the celebration of Independence.  What a dynamic word that is....INDEPENDENCE....it means so much and many different things to each of us.  Today as I ponder this word, I think how symbolic it is for me as I am celebrating this day moving on and into a new home.  The shedding of so many things and the beginning of all things DARLA.....what an eventful celebration of life's journey.  How about YOU???? What are you doing with your Independence.....are you spending it and celebrating it with good health physically, emotionally, and spiritually????

Thanks for stopping by and I hope that you are encouraged by what you have read and viewed in the Public Area.  I am serious about what I am providing on this site....if I can help ONE person adapt and improve their quality of life....then I have succeeded in the purpose of this website.  Do you need a support person to talk with, think you can not afford a trainer, do you need encouragement, a SAFE place to be able to GET HEALTHY and STAY HEALTHY, becoming a member would be the greatest gift to yourself.  You have to START somewhere.....if I need to be your start, then I am here for that.......

Women.....this is not a "typical fitness model website"......the focus is not selling sex......the focus is encouraging everyone in their journey to getting and staying healthy!!!!  I am very passionate about what I do.....and I am building a fitness family promoting the truth....that Good Health, Being Sexy, Feeling Confident, and Loving Yourself.....IS POSSIBLE at any age......Stop accepting the EXCUSES of I am too old, busy with kids, not enough time, I will never be healthy, I have blown it any....why start now, I can't look like that, I will never be able to wear that, I want to be better.....but why try.....STOP THE SELF Destruction...

Dedication to My Father!!!!

Hi readers!!!!

I am dedicating this blog to my Father!!!

Father's Day has come and gone but reflecting back as a child into my teen years, I have to say that my father was a big part in modeling good nutrition and how important it was to be healthy. My father made sure I had my daily dose of cod liver oil, brewers yeast, wheat germ, and consumed organic vegies and fruits from our garden and trees.  I remember standing by the grinder my father used to make fresh corn meal and wheat flour, which my mother made the most delicious corn and wheat breads.  Today I find myself thinking about that as I add my flax meal and wheat germ into my shakes, cereals, and protein pancakes.  I smile as I grind my rolled oats into flour with my blender.......this apple has not dropped far from the tree.  Thanks Dad for modeling good health for me and being a BIG part of who I am today!!!!

Happy Birthday to My Daughter

I wanted to dedicate this blog to my daughter.......Love ya!!!!  I celebrated by preparing her requested favs....lasagna and apple crisp.  It was so much fun putting the party together and did I modify the lasagna a bit.....YES.....and it tasted WONDERFUL.  A little low fat here, n/f cottage cheese there and of course the apple crisp was sliced apples on the bottom with a crumble top so no 2 crusted pie loaded with extra cals.  We topped that with a light vanilla bean ice cream and YUMMO!!!! I gave myself a treat day and indulged on a serving of everything.....lots of fun and great memories......

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU SWEETIE AND I LOVE YA BUNCHES!!!!!

Hi Readers....

If you have read my bio, then you know that I am also a Massage Therapist as well as a Fitness Trainer.  Running 2 businesses can bring me many challenges and time management is essential. The great thing about my life and my occupations is that I have such a passion for what I do and look forward to greeting each morning ready to help the clients of the day.  Now....just imagine if I did not take care of myself, get adequate sleep, eat well, exercise, and everything that spells HEALTH....I would not be the best I could be for those depending on me.  So, as I write this, I am very aware that I am up a bit past my regular bed time.  I will briefly share that my day was split between training and massage clients.  I had my fav breakfast....protein pancakes, my snacks in between, and you will love this quick throw together salad I had at 9pm.....mixed baby greens, 1/3 can kidney beans, 2 slices turkey breast torn and tossed on top, salsa, tomatoes, 1/4 avocado, and a tsp of n/f sour cream....oh and jalapenos.   I mixed everything up and it was quite tasty. 


Have a wonderful evening and get creative in the kitchen (it also saves $$$$)

The Calendar

Living by your calendar?????  GREAT!!!!! Me too.....

Have you penciled in your ME time?  With the hectic schedules of work, family, kids, meetings, and the endless list of things to do......you just HAVE TO....why?  You will not MAKE the time for yourself if you do not do it.  On my CALENDAR  I have my clients listed, but you better believe I have a workout for myself scheduled as well.  I also schedule myself for massage on a regular basis.  Sorry.....I am not the kind of trainer that accepts "I just do not have the time", or "The kids take up all my time", or "I work so much I just do not have the time and am too tired".  I have heard about every EXCUSE in the book to not get healthy.  Ask yourself, do you want to be happy? Do you want to be a better person for your partner and children? Do you want to feel energized? ....... Ask yourself, do you want to be healthy, fit, feel better, look better? All this is accomplished with your ME time.  ME time is not coming home from work, flipping on the TV and planting your ass until bed time.   How about working out for your ME time, taking a walk with the family, spending quality time outdoors playing frisbee, skating, throwing the ball around, basketball, or whatever floats your boat.  I challenge you to take 30 minutes of being active each day, and I guarantee your stress will be less, your mental outlook happier, work and personal life improving......let me know

Over the past couple of days I have been putting content together for the Public View area.  Today you will see that I added all my videos from You Tube and my Photo Shoot with DRP Photography.  Also, I have included a special video chat for YOU LADIES out there  My next content to add will be a few image galleries already on other websites.  I will also be busy putting together my next update for my members only area ready for view by Monday.  Gotta run make a Forum visit and talk about my workout today. Thanks to Power Tie Marketing for teaching and giving me the ability and confidence to prepare this site for you.  It is always a fun challenge and puts my mental muscles to work.

Ready Set Photo Shoot

Hi Everyone!!!

Thanks for stopping by to get the latest update.  I am getting ready for a photo shoot mid June and starting my planning now.  What does that mean???? Well, brief details include remaining strict with my eating and consistent with my fitness plan; hair, nails, outfits, etc....

Thanks to my membership for being such great support, offering suggestions of what they would like to see me wear, and buying me a couple of outfits....Muahhhhh!!!!

This morning I worked with a client on a kick-butt interval program and I am feeling DOMS kicking in....lots of plyometric drills, pulls ups, burpees, push ups, and weighted abs....GREAT FUN
